Choice for Voice 2010

Multidisciplinary Approaches to Performance, Health and Research in Voice

The BVA is excited to offer Choice for Voice 2010, in association with the Royal Academy of Music. This event is the biggest of the BVA's academic year, giving a chance to interact with international faculty and delegates. As a multidisciplinary conference, it is suitable for all voice practitioners, professional voice users, singers and their teachers, vocal coaches, actors, drama teachers, students, acoustic scientists, speech and language therapists, manual therapists, doctors, ENT surgeons, logopedes and phoniatrists. The conference will be held at the Royal Academy of Music in London. We look forward to seeing you in London in July at this cutting-edge event.

There will be two sessions daily with an extensive choice of workshops on a broad range of topics in addition to the Plenary Seminars presented by Diane Bless, Janice Chapman and Markus Hess.

FREE PAPERS
Each paper session will include parallel sessions with 12 minute presentations plus 3 minutes for questions and discussion.

ARTISTRY IN ACTION
Each day will conclude with a masterclass or performances with commentary to demonstrate teaching methods. Classical Voice and Musical Theatre will be offered by the Royal Academy of Music and Spoken Voice will be offered by the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts (RADA).
